40 youth pass out as beneficiaries of NASPA-KKM skill training program
The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA), Kpone Katamanso Municipal in collaboration with the Centre for National Culture (CNC) Kpone Katamanso has graduated 40 youth, as beneficiaries of a skill-training program within the municipality.
The training was held at the St. Michael Catholic Church on 4th June, 2022 and forms part of the agenda of the 2021/2022 administration to skillfully equip personnel within the municipality and to prepare them for life after service. The exercise was rightfully powered by the office of the women's commissioner of NASPA-KKM.
Beneficiaries were trained in liquid soap making, hand sanitizer, pastries bridal fan making and other crafts.
Participants in the training were given participant certificates as well as learning manuals to help them in perusing their career plans.
District head of the Centre for National Culture (CNC), Kpone Katamanso, Madam Sandra Boison commended the participants for making themselves available for the training and urged them to implement the knowledge and skill they have acquired during the training to enable them to succeed in their businesses.
"I urge you to hone the type of adventurous mindset, which will make you courageous enough to be creative and innovative, take calculated risks and to derive all the benefits that come from becoming your own boss'.
The NSS District manager Mr. Immanuel Nii Lartey, urged the participants to use the skills gained to start their own businesses.
He advised the graduates to put premium on their services so as to stand-out.
A beneficiary of the training, Miss Ruth Nyame said "The skills training had a positive impact on my morale because I was able to learn new skills, meet and communicate with new people".
She described the program as impressive and praised NASPA KKM for organizing the event which will have a positive impact on their lives.
